Profile Dr. H. Panji Widagdo, S.H., M.H.

Dr. H. Panji Widagdo, S.H., M.H. was born in Surakarta on June 26, 1957. He earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta in 1982 and completed his Master’s degree in Economic Law at Universitas Muslim Indonesia in 2001.

With over four decades of dedicated judicial service, Dr. Panji Widagdo began his legal career as a candidate judge at the Salatiga District Court (1984–1986). He subsequently served as a judge across several regional courts, including the Raha District Court (1986–1990), Palopo District Court (1990–1996), and Jepara District Court (1996–1999).

Throughout his career, he has held numerous judicial leadership roles, including Vice Chairman of the Pangkep District Court (1999–2001), Assistant to the Supreme Court (2001–2006), Chairman of the Bontang District Court (2006–2007), and Judge at the Central Jakarta District Court (2007–2009).

Elevated to the appellate bench, he served as a High Court Judge in Bangka Belitung (2009–2010) and at the Supreme Court’s Agency for Legal & Judicial Research and Training (2010–2015). He further served as Vice Chairman of the Central Sulawesi High Court (2015–2016) and Vice Chairman of the Mataram High Court (2016), prior to his appointment as a Supreme Court Justice in the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia
